TALE 22 Series - Lake Livingston park
Start hike at: At Recreation Hall. Walk down entry road and find “Trinity Trace Trail” that crosses road. (you will want to go right on that trail).
Box 1: Kayaking – From Road, with back to lake, go right on Trinity Trace Trail. Go to junction with Hawthorn trail. Continue 35 more steps. Look right at double pine tree 10 yards away. Box at back of left base, under sticks.
Box 2: Tubing – Continue down trail to road, cross over. Count 65 more steps to pine and oak side by side 5 feet off trail on right. Box at back base under sticks.
Box 3: Boating – Go on 144 steps to trail on left. Go left 9 steps on that trail, then left 5 steps to large oak tree. Box at back base under sticks.
Box 4: Jet Skiing – Go on to bridge, and cross over, and then go 3 more steps. Go right off trail 10 yards to pine tree. Box at back base under asphalt block.
Box 5: Fishing – Continue 150 steps to side trail on right. Go right for 24 steps. Go right 5 feet to pine tree. Box at back base under sticks.
Box 6: Shipping – Back to main trial, then right for 100 steps to a bench. Go 20 more steps to 2 pines on right edge of trail 5 feet apart. Go 8 more steps from 2nd pine to small oak tree. Go right 15 yards to big pine tree. Box at back base.
Box 7: Sailing – Go 166 steps to mound on left and big pine on right 8 feet off trail. Box at back base under log.
Box 8: Rafting – Go 200 steps to large oak tree on right edge of trail. Box at back base under a log.
Box 9: Paddling – (wet area) – Go 280 steps to large oak tree with small double trunk on right edge of trail. Go behind it 5 yards to bigger oak tree. Box at back base under sticks.
Box 10: Gondoliering – Go 87 steps to large dead pine on left, 2 feet off trail, with small pine 2 feet further. Box behind small pine, under log.
Box 11: Canoeing – Go 122 steps to pine tree on left, 2 feet off trail. Box at back base under sticks.
Box 12: Yachting – Go 75 steps to small trail on right. Take that trail to overlook. Turn around and go back 5 steps, then right off trail to pine tree 5 feet away. Box at back base under sticks. Return the way you came.
