A lunch date awaits so hop in your car
Ride 19 then 7 from City of Star.
Stay lucky to find an historical line
That M & D chained, now a park for our time.
Go nuts for Ohio right over a bridge
To ditch your car neatly look left just a smidge.
The Swagodile’s tail swept a path just for you.
Go dance West Side story - it’s easy to do!
Ripley will race you alongside your aisle.
Your total for hiking is less than a mile.
The Scout and the arrow of iron will greet you.
These two maitre d’s you’ll pass through, they won’t seat you.
No blazes to see now this close to the pail.
Just 30 short paces to dine off the trail.
The Swagodile’s fat, a few trees stand as cover.
Pry open his mouth and your arm he will smother.
Your bravery mounting, yank out his lunch bag
(There’s geoswag too for the cachers’ own fad.)
Stamp your own sign in his logbook to feed him.
Did others before you stamp records of inkin’?
If he deems your stamp yummy he’ll chomp in your log
Return his lunch sealed to avoid any sog.
Go back whence you came and then steer your car more
To find the park proper with fun trails galore!
There’s caching, a benchmark, a waterfall trail,
Fairies’ doors, survey lines, oil well tales.
Thank you for having some lunch with the ‘dile.
A stamp in his belly does cause him to smile.
Good luck to us all on the letterbox way
Or maybe I’ll meet you out caching someday!

If you are a geocacher, you can get the coords at the hybrid letterbox cache called The Swagodile. Only letterboxers use the letterbox log (and don’t stamp the cache log). Only geocachers use the geocache log (and don’t sign the letterbox log). If you are both, log them accordingly! Thanks to Chapper55 for allowing me to add a letterbox to their cool cache!
