Please Note: These letterboxes can only be found when school is NOT in session
Brownie Troop 34165 created these letterboxes on their way to earning their Letterboxing Badge. They love letterboxing and are very excited to bring this Girl Scout Tradition to their elementary school.
Brownie Troop 34165 Box 1:
Start at the Stepney Elementary School rightmost parking lot. Off the blacktop area find the entrance to the Stepney Nature Trail.
Start walking on the trail.
Walk passed the fallen down tree with a blue blaze on it
On your left, look for a white tube coming up out of the ground by a fallen down birch tree. Go to the white tube.
Look to the left to see a dirt pile where tree roots came out of the ground when a tree fell down.
Look behind a big rock in the dirt mound to find Box #1.
Make sure to rehind so it does not get found on accident.
Return to the trail and continue the way you were going to fine Box #2
Brownie Troop 34165 Box 2:
Continue on the Stepney Nature Trail following the blue blazes across the access road to the trial end.
Go past the fenced in “Keep Out” sign.
Go straight to the rock wall.
Look for a tall, straight, skinny tree.
Straight ahead in the bottom of the rock wall you will find the container tucked in an opening.
Please re-hide well :)
